Essay
Science is a major subject in the twenty-first century. However, it's not very popular among young people, but there are ways of making it more interesting.
First of all, not every TV channel has programmes about science and this is because we live in a celebrity culture where children look up to influencers rather than science experts. In particular, if there were science programmes for teenagers presented by public figures on national TV at peek hours, they would be more drawn to it as a profession.
Secondly, there aren't many hands-on museums which would attract young people. As a solution, the government should set them up which will enable schoolteachers to take students to them and have interactive classes.
Another idea would be to have practical experience in school, but also to modernise the method of teaching which is outdated. Besides that, teachers could introduce science TV shows during classes and get students more involved in by doing various projects.
Briefly speaking, we can't progress without science and young people must be made aware of its importance and today's employment opportunities.
