Task: You have received a letter from an English friend:
Hi!
Hi Jack!
Great to hear from you after such a long time. Congrats on passing all of your exams, you earned it! So cool that you're thinking about doing ski job. Good for you!
For me, I must say it was the best experience I've ever had. I was working six days a week as a cook in a hotel and to be honest at times it was very stressful because the hotel was full and we had to work non-stop. However, the positive thing about it was that we got on like a house on fire and were a great team. Also, some of my colleagues were foreigners and I had a chance to practise my English.
I know how much you love skiing, but to be honest you'll be lucky to get more than a couple of days in all. Besides that, you have to buy your own ski pass, which is pricey. I was very frustrated when show conditions were good and I was in the kitchen.
All in all, I think four months is enough to pick up a language, improve your soft skills and take your cooking to the next level.
I don't really know what to advise. You won't get much skiing, it can be pretty stressful at times, but you'll get great experience and it will be a plus on your CV.
I think that's all for now. Do write soon and let me know what you decide.
All the best,
AnΔela

Hi!
I remember that you worked in a ski resort last winter, and I'm thinking of doing the same this year. Were there any drawbacks? Did you meet interesting people? What opportunities were there for skiing? Would I gain much from doing it just for four months? Should I apply for it?
Thanks for help
